Chef Arturo’s journey began in the bustling markets of Ecuador, where he learned to cook alongside his grandmother, a skilled and passionate cook who operated a market stall. Over the years, his expertise evolved as he worked at renowned establishments across Spain and London, including Michelin-starred restaurants and Bib Gourmand-awarded venues. Now, Chef Arturo has taken his passion and expertise to create his own brand, blending the soul of Ecuador with the sophistication of Europe.

Our Vision
At Cutana, we are more than just a dining experience. We are a celebration of family, heritage, and innovation. Chef Arturo’s family plays a vital role in shaping the essence of Cutana. His wife, Yngrid, a wine enthusiast who loves music, curates wine pairings that perfectly complement our dishes. Their children, Arturo and Alejandro, inspire the creativity and love that goes into every plate. David’s passion for baking and Alejandro’s love for football add unique flavours of inspiration to our story.
Our goal is to share the warmth and joy of Ecuadorian culture while embracing the modern culinary world.

Owning a South American food retail shop in Spain, bringing authentic flavours to European customers.
