About Cutana

Cutana was born from two meanings.

In Loja, Ecuador, a cutana is a traditional stone kitchen tool used to grind seeds, grains, and spices — a symbol of patience, care, and transformation.

It is also the place where our founder, Arturo, was born and raised, surrounded by farmland and fresh ingredients. His parents, Vicente and Yolanda, passed on a deep respect for produce, seasonality, and hard work — values that still define Cutana today.

Arturo’s earliest memories of food come from helping his grandmother, Regina, at her market food stall in Loja. That connection to honest, handmade cooking followed him to Spain, and then to London’s most demanding kitchens.

Cutana is where that journey lands — rooted in Ecuador, shaped by Europe, and built for London.

What We Do Today

Today Cutana operates from The Clement Attlee in Limehouse while delivering private dining, corporate catering and bespoke events across London.

Founder

Chef Arturo Camacho is the founder of Cutana, with over 20 years of experience across Ecuador, Spain, and London. He has worked in some of London's most recognised kitchens including The Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay, London House, and Bancone. His cooking combines South American roots with modern European techniques, creating a unique and distinctive style. Through Cutana, Arturo's vision is to build a brand that delivers high-quality food with identity across dining, events, and product development.

Henry Camacho

Henry Camacho's journey in food has been shaped by Michelin-level kitchens, high standards, and a deep respect for ingredients. He began his career running a cocktail bar in Madrid, developing a strong understanding of flavours, hospitality, and guest experience. After moving to London, Henry trained at Quaglino's before spending seven years within the Gordon Ramsay group. He later worked with CH&CO in high-end catering and events, then became Head Chef at My & Sané in South Kensington. Today, he works alongside his brother at Cutana, combining professional standards with honest, soulful cooking designed to bring people together. Beyond the kitchen, Henry leads Cutana's menu development, event planning and day-to-day operations.

David Camacho

Co-Founder

Digital & Brand

David Camacho represents the next generation behind Cutana. He supports the business through social media and digital content, creating photos and videos that showcase the food and atmosphere of the kitchen. Alongside this, he assists in the kitchen with preparation and service, while studying Business at the University of Essex. His focus is on growing Cutana's digital presence while building experience across both business and kitchen operations.
